Asst. Prof. Bojana Zoraja, PhD, from the Department of Environmental Engineering and Occupational Health and Safety, participated in the international AIHA Connect 2026 conference, held from June 1 to 3, 2026, in New Orleans, United States.
AIHA Connect brings together professionals, researchers, and representatives of organisations working in the fields of industrial hygiene, worker health protection, and occupational health and safety. This year’s conference gathered more than 3,000 participants from around the world.
During the conference, Asst. Prof. Bojana Zoraja attended professional and scientific sessions dedicated to contemporary approaches to occupational risk assessment, worker health protection, improvement of the working environment, and the development of preventive measures in occupational health and safety.
Participation in this international conference provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with colleagues from academic and professional communities, follow current research trends and examples of good practice, and present the activities of the Department and the Faculty of Technical Sciences.
A particularly important aspect of conferences of this kind is the opportunity to establish new professional contacts and create possibilities for future international cooperation in research, education, and the development of modern solutions aimed at improving occupational health and safety.
