Fourth-year students of the Environmental Engineering study program and third-year students of the Occupational Health and Safety study program at the Faculty of Technical Sciences — Ognjen Antić, Anastasija Lalović, Aleksandra Maksimović, and Anđela Dukojević — participated in the international summer school “Hazardous Substances”, held from May 5 to 15, 2026, in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The program was organised within the CEEPUS network SI-0905-00-2526 “Training and Research in Environmental Chemistry and Toxicology”, coordinated by Prof. Polonca Trebše, PhD, from the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ljubljana. The local network coordinators at the Faculty of Technical Sciences are Prof. Maja Turk Sekulić, PhD, and Prof. Ivana Mihajlović, PhD.
The CEEPUS network SI-0905-00-2526 provides an interdisciplinary platform for the mobility of students, academic staff, and researchers, fostering academic cooperation, the exchange of experience, and the development of new competencies in the fields of environmental protection and hazardous substances management.
The participation of our students in this international summer school represents an important contribution to their professional development, while also strengthening the international visibility of the Department of Environmental Engineering and Occupational Health and Safety through its involvement in international educational and research activities.
