As part of the teaching activities for the course Management of Occupational Safety Processes in Construction, fourth-year students of the Occupational Health and Safety study program had the opportunity to attend a professional lecture on occupational health and safety at construction sites, with particular emphasis on the practical application of regulations and safety measures.
The guest lecturer was Nemanja Jevtić, a representative of LB Adria, who introduced students to the real-world challenges faced by occupational health and safety professionals in the construction industry through practical examples, personal professional experience, and interactive discussion. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of proper risk management and the consistent implementation of occupational health and safety measures in everyday construction-site operations.
We would like to thank the guest lecturer for his time and contribution to the teaching process, as well as the organiser, Dr Bojana Zoraja, and our colleagues for their continued support in strengthening cooperation between academic education and professional practice at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad.
